Spira una ventata di freschezza e glamour sulla moda milanese e le passerelle della prossima Spring/Summer ne sono stata una chiara espressione. La presenza della regina della moda, Anna Wintour, nei front row milanesi pare proprio confermarlo.

Londra ha esordito con colori brillanti e alcuni dettagli davvero degni di nota, grande attenzione alla vestibilità ed al contemporary chic, anche se forse a tratti un po' troppo concettuale per i miei gusti.
Note particolari: trionfano i bermuda e le gonne in trasparenza al ginocchio, il blue denim e il giallo in tutte le sue sfumature.
Ed anche qui, come a New York, bagliori di luce, iridescenti e metallici illuminano le passerelle mescolandosi ai ricami ed alle trasparenze, per abiti frizzanti e trasgressivi.

Notes: triumph of bermudas and transparent skirts on the knee, the denim blue and yellow in all its hues.
And here, as well as in New York, light glows, iridescent and metallic light up the runways mingling with the embroideries and the transparencies for sparkling and unconventional dresses.

Cool look of the day: Miranda's off-duty look
Simply lovely this Miranda's off-duty cool look. She was spotted out around NY wearing a Gucci ruffled and off-shoulder silk peasant maxi dress, in a bold royal blue tone, paired with Chanel thong blue sandals and a black vintage Valentino fringed detailed shoulder bag. Her hair, glossy and wavy locks, and a sexy red pout give the last perfect touch to this french-offence inspired look.

MUNA'S COOL TOURS: FLASHY AND FASHION IN A'DAM
Un'altra splendida sortita ad Amsterdam, in piena estate, davvero non ricordavo fosse così bella in questa stagione...
Questa volta ho selezionato e recensito per voi un po’ dei miei posticini favoriti ad Amsterdam, ed alcuni dei posti più cool e promettenti che non potete perdere e dovete assolutamente vedere!
Per la mia vacanza volevo essere al centro di Amsterdam ed ho scelto di soggiornare al Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky situato in piazza Dam proprio di fronte al Palazzo Reale. Nell'hotel vi è uno splendido giardino d'inverno la cui serra ottocentesca è un monumento nazionale, anche se questo non riuscirà a distrarre la vostra attenzione da un altro monumento nazionale: l'enorme dildo che campeggia in piazza Dam! In realtà trattasi di un maestoso obelisco in cemento e travertino eretto in memoria dei caduti olandesi durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, il più celebre monumento dei Paesi Bassi, (per me incredibilmente somigliante ad una gigantesca Sabyan machine e, peraltro, in stile con i piccoli dildo che costeggiano le aree pedonali lungo le strade).
In fatto di cibo ad Amsterdam potete avere davvero tutto ciò che desiderate, ci sono ristoranti, bar, posti per la colazione o per uno spuntino veloce e magnifici take away per dolci e caffè.
Tra questi meritano sicuramente un passaggio lo Shilder's Cafè, il Maxime Cafè, l'Humphrey's bar, il Tweede Kamer coffeshop, il Greenhouse coffeshop, lo Zeezicht cafè, l'In De Waag, l'Abraxas coffeeshop, il Supperclub.
Another awesome sortie in Amsterdam, this time in the middle of summer, I really did not remember it was so beautiful in this season ...This time I selected and reviewed a few of my all-time favourite spots in Amsterdam, and some strong up-and-comers that you shouldn’t miss and you must check out for yourself!
For my holiday I wanted to be in central Amsterdam and I chose to stay at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky located in Dam Square in front of the Royal Palace. In the hotel there is a beautiful winter garden whose nineteenth century greenhouse is a national monument, although this will not be able to distract your attention from another national monument: the huge dildo that stands in the Dam! Actually it is a stately travertine obelisk erected in memory of the fallen Dutch during the Second World War, the most famous monument of the Netherlands (for me incredibly similar to a giant Sabyan machine and, moreover, in style with small dildos that flank the pedestrian areas in the streets).
In Amsterdam you can have everything you want, you have restaurants, bars, places you visit for breakfast or brunch and great take away stops for coffee and cakes.
Among these are definitely worth a ride the Shilder's cafè, the Maxime Cafè, the Humphrey's bar, the Tweede Kamer coffeshop, the Greenhouse coffeshop, the Zeezicht cafè, In de Waag, the Abraxas coffeeshop, the Supperclub.

MUNA'S SUMMER TRENDS: DO AND DON'T LISTS ON THE BEACH
Come ogni anno anche questa estate sono tanti i trend e le rivisitazioni in fatto di moda da spiaggia. Dagli occhiali da sole ai sandali, dal costume alle borse sono i dettagli e non solo le temperature che fanno l'estate!
Vediamo quali sono i trend principali per questa torrida estate 2013 e le mie DO and DON'T Lists on the beach.
Cominciamo con i colori: l'hot pink, il verde prato, l'arancio e il blu cobalto abbinati al bianco e tra loro sono un classico dell'estate. Poi sicuramente spiccano i dieci colori eletti da Pantone come i colori dell'anno, ma tra questi, quello decisamente in ascesa è il Dusk Blue, un colore pastello versatile e sognante, da alcuni anche detto Wedgwood, dal nome della nota marca di porcellane famosa per i piatti e vasi Wedgwood blue. Insomma nel guardaroba estivo quest'anno non dovrà mancare un capo in questa tonalità di blu così zen!

Muna's Fashion Find: OFFICE TEASE by Venetia Scott
Mi capita di sfogliare tante riviste e di navigare on line e rimango spesso affascinata dai fashion editorial, mi incuriosiscono i dettagli, le location e le ambientazioni scelte, il concept che c'è dietro ogni fashion editorial, a mio parere, tutti aspetti importantissimi per mettere in risalto gli abiti, e se ci si sbaglia si puo' determinare il completo fallimento del lavoro.
Il primo fashion editorial che mi ha colpito è quello di Venetia Scott, Office Tease per il numero F/W 2012 della rivista Self Service.

MUNA'S ART DEPARTMENT: KUBRICK'S MOVIES FASHION DOLLS THROUGH THE DECADES
Uno degli aspetti maggiormente controversi della filmografia di Kubrick è la sua visione e rappresentazione delle donne: il regista è sempre stato attaccato per aver praticamente eliminato dai suoi film i personaggi femminili (come in 2001 Odissea nello spazio, Full Metal Jacket, Paths of Glory o Dr. Strangelove) e per averli disumanizzati ed averne fatto delle ironiche caricature di vedove o isteriche arpie (come in The Killing o in Lolita) o ancora, dei discutibili oggetti sessuali (come nel Dr. Strangelove, The Clockwork Orange, Eyes Wide Shut, Lolita).
Il rapporto di Kubrick con le donne in effetti è davvero interessante. I suoi film sono praticamente solo sugli uomini. Ma a volte in essi compaiono le donne, alcune sono donne intelligenti, potenti, volitive, ironiche, ma tante sono donne deboli, vittime... e moltissime, sono nude, praticamente in tutti i suoi film.

TRENDABLE: WEAR THEM WITH PRINTS!
Sono certa che quasi tutti ricordano che negli anni '80' andava molto di moda indossare pantaloni stampati. Fashioniste, come me, e non potranno riassaporare nuovamente le stampe floreali. Negli anni '90 erano out!
Le stampe sui pantaloni? cheesy e kitsch.
Oggi, 20 anni dopo, sono ovunque nelle ultime collezioni... e io già li adoro!
Infondo non c'è mai nulla di veramente nuovo nella moda, la moda in realtà è continua reinvenzione, rivisitazione, aggiunta e sottrazione, quindi quest'anno ...let's wear them with prints!
