Muna's Fashion Find: OFFICE TEASE by Venetia Scott

Mi capita di sfogliare tante riviste e di navigare on line e rimango spesso affascinata dai fashion editorial, mi incuriosiscono i dettagli, le location e le ambientazioni scelte, il concept che c'è dietro ogni fashion editorial, a mio parere, tutti aspetti importantissimi per mettere in risalto gli abiti, e se ci si sbaglia si puo' determinare il completo fallimento del lavoro.

Il primo fashion editorial che mi ha colpito è quello di Venetia Scott, Office Tease per il numero F/W 2012 della rivista Self Service.

Un'agenzia Ansa dell'altro ieri ha lanciato la sensazionale notizia del ritrovamento di un centinaio di disegni del giovane Michelangelo Merisi detto il Caravaggio. La notizia - sicuramente una scoperta sensazionale che, se fosse confermata, costituirebbe una svolta storica per il mondo dell'arte - ha creato enorme sconcerto e incredulità e sollevato notevoli dubbi e perplessità nella comunità scientifica circa la corretta attribuzione dei disegni al famoso pittore.

An Ansa agency of the day before yesterday launched the sensational news of the discovery for a hundred drawings by the young Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio. The news - certainly a sensational discovery that, if confirmed, would be a historic turning point for the art world - has created enormous confusion and disbelief and raised serious doubts and concerns in the scientific community about the proper allocation of the drawings to the famous painter.

Hai anche tu una Schnabel Attitude?

E si perché essere un uomo così, come Julian Schnabel, se lo si è, lo si è per attitudine...per una insopprimibile predisposizione ed inclinazione d'animo ad essere così!  

L'ho sempre trovato un artista incomparabile, poliedrico ed un uomo carismatico, sempre sopra le righe, affascinante ed anche tremendamente sexy. Non mi stupisce, infatti, che al suo fianco abbia sempre donne intelligenti e bellissime, come l'ultima ex moglie Olatz Lopez o come la ex fidanzata regista palestinese Rula Gebreal, un uomo per cui - lo si intuisce immediatamente guardando i suoi lavori - la pittura è come respirare, permea tutto ciò che fa, anche quando è scrivere o fare un film.

Do you also have a Schnabel Attitude? 

Yes, because be a man thus as Julian Schnabel, if you are, it is an attitude ... for an irrepressible predisposition and inclination of mind to be so! 

I've always found him an incomparable artist, a versatile and charismatic man, always over the top, charming and also tremendously sexy. I'm not surprised, in fact, that at his side he has always intelligent and beautiful women, like the last ex-wife Olatz Lopez's or as the ex-girlfriend, the director Palestinian, Rula Gebreal, a man for whom - the one senses instantly by looking at his work - painting is like breathing, permeates everything he does, even when writing or making a movie.
