Muna's Fashion Tips: The Posillipo's Street market

Non c'è niente di meglio che un giro di shopping al mercatino se si vogliono cogliere le ultime tendenze, tastare il polso dello street style cittadino, scovare idee carine per reinventare il proprio guardaroba e, perchè no, ogni tanto, fare qualche buon affare.

Ad esempio se c'è un capo o un accessorio di tendenza, in un mercatino come questo puoi trovarlo, ed il bello è che alle volte l'imitazione è meglio dell'originale!

Ovviamente in un mercatino c'è di tutto e di più, è una baraonda di gente, voci, colori, è ammuina come diciamo qui...perciò per non perdersi in tutti i sensi, è bene guardarsi intorno, ma se non ci si vuole passare tutta la mattinata, è meglio dirigersi verso alcune bancarelle selezionate, dove siete certe di poter trovare quel che state cercando... 
Il mercatino di Posillipo - tra i miei preferiti, anche se in realtà è il preferito, lo supera solo il mercatino di Poggioreale, che in fatto di scarpe è un must-go - si tiene ogni giovedì mattina nei viali della Rimembranza sulla collina di Posillipo, ci sono un paio di bancarelle con molti capi di marca ed alcune con scarpe da campionario, ed un paio di bancarelle di bikini in cui vale la pena curiosare.

L'importante è non farsi scoraggiare davanti la montagna di costumi ed avere occhio... 

In effetti ieri sono stata fortunata: ho scovato un costumino di Argentovivo delizioso ed un altro verde mela e blu di Poisson D'Amour altrettanto carino per 5 euro l'uno e poi il mio vero affare, il vestitino Marmore Nero/Blu di Pinko per €40!

Poi, inutile dirlo, avrei acquistato altre cento cose ma non so perchè...le cose che piacciono a me, gira e rigira, sono sempre le più care e quindi non volendo sforare il mio budget (€50), ho desistito a malincuore.

Per farvi un esempio, alla bancarella dei vintage get-ups, c'era una Chanel cross body rossa che sarebbe stata proprio bene sul mio nuovo vestitino Marmore Pinko ma costava €150 ed io odio mercanteggiare... e poi non sono esperta nelle quotazioni del vintage, lo so, me la sognerò stanotte, ma ho preferito lasciarla a qualcun'altra più meritevole di me...la potete intravedere in uno degli scatti... ditemi voi se non è deliziosa: cara, ma deliziosa.

Avrei acquistato anche quei sandaletti borchiati di Le Chateau se solo ci fosse stato il mio numero, ma non si può aver tutto.. ok, se non altro ho preso un sacco di ispirazione per i miei prossimi Diy projects: tra crop tops e minigonne, shorts con applicazioni e fantasie particolari di leggings, senza contare le borse e gli accessori, ho registrato un paio di nuovissimi trend ed annotato tutti gli spunti per il mio prossimo Diy project...so stay tuned!

There is nothing better than a shopping trip to the market if you want to take advantage of the latest trends, feel the pulse of the city street style, find nice ideas to rearrange your wardrobe and why not, every now and then, do a good business for yourself. For example, if there is a dress or a trendy accessory, you can find it in a market like this, and the best part of it that sometimes the imitation is better than the original! 

Obviously there is a market where you can find everything and even more than you expect: it is a jumble of people, voices, colors, it is pure "Ammuina", as we say here ... so in order not to get lost, it is good to look around, but if do not want to spend the whole morning there, you’d better direct yourself to some specific stands, where you can be sure to find what you are looking for ... The marketplace of Posillipo - one of my favorites, even though it is actually "the favorite", because only the one of "Poggioreale" is consodered bette (in terms of shoes is a must-go) - is held every Thursday morning in the boulevard of “Remembranza” on the hill of Posillipo, there are a couple of stands with many types of designer shoes and even some samples, and a couple of bikini stands which is worth browsing. The important thing is not to get discouraged by the mountain of clothes and bikinis. You must be be vigilant...

As a matter of fact, today I was lucky: I bought for 5 Euros each two bathing suits, a bright silver one and a green-apple by Poisson D'Amour. But my real deal was a little dress the Pinko Marmore dress in Black/Blue  for €40!

Then, needless to say, I would have bought many other things, but I do not know why ... the things that I like, in the end, are always the most expensive and I gave them up reluctantly because I wanted to stay within my budget (50 euro). As an example, on the stand of vintage get-ups there was a red cross body by Chanel that would be have looked really nice on my new little dress, Pinko, but the cost was 150 euros and I hate bargaining ... also I'm not expert of vintage items prices, I know, I will dream about during the night, but I decided to leave it to someone more deserving then me ... you can see it in one of the shots ... Tell me...isn’t it adorable? Expensive, but adorable.

Had I found my size, I would have bought also those studded stilettos , but you cannot have everything ... ok, at least I got a lot of inspiration for my next Diy projects: between crop tops and short skirts, shorts and applications with special images of leggings - not counting the bags and accessories - I have recorded a couple of brand new trends for this summer and I have taken notes for my next project Diy.
